I have a fascination with movement and how it translates into 2D stills, whether it be energetic or quiet drawings. I tend to focus on line quality and form in my work, which often extends to patterns or detail. Due to my interest in motion, I tend to gravitate towards topics or genres that have a wide range of tension and energy, such as action and sports. Another topic of interest is the natural world, which I enjoy learning about and want to become more conscious about in regards to sustainability and conservation. |

As a person of Korean heritage, one of my goals is to develop stories involving my cultural background and the natural ecosystems I like traveling to. I grew up with Korean media, so kdramas and manga/manhwa have largely influenced my development towards illustration and animation. My fascination with myths and legends progressed into learning more about history and traditional significance, and currently the weird and supernatural. I enjoy learning about jangseung and dokkaebi, and I want to include more of these supernatural elements into my own work.
